For In-Person Payments at Live Events: You will notice our volunteers using SumUp card machines rather than accepting cash at our stalls and events. Managed directly by the PTA Treasurer, these contactless readers ensure maximum security, transparency, and efficiency. Moving away from cash eliminates the logistical risks of handling, counting, and transporting physical money on school grounds. It guarantees that every single pound spent at a stall is accurately logged and goes straight into the PTA charity bank account, whilst offering parents the convenience of quick, contactless payment.
